Academic Promotions Unit

Academic Promotions Committee in the college promotes the scientific promotion transactions for faculty members after they fulfill the required conditions, based on the Scientific Promotions Instructions No. 36 of 1992 and subsequent amendments and instructions No. 167 of 2017, in permanent coordination with the Central Committee for Academic Promotions at the University of Baghdad. All this in order to achieve justice on the one hand and accuracy and confidentiality of work on the other.

The committee was also keen to shorten the time for completing transactions by using the internet in selecting the scientific assessors (especially from  outside Iraq) after getting to know their scientific achievements and their publications in addition to the reputable universities to which they belong, and then choosing the best and most consistent with the promotion’s specialization To send the upgrade transaction to him.

The Academic Promotions Committee is making every effort to create the appropriate conditions for the faculty’s teachers to obtain higher ranks in support of the advancement of the academic process of the faculty and the university.
