Tasks And Duties of the Media Unit:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The Media and Public Relations Division includes two units. The first is the Media Unit. The unit works to build bridges of communication with Iraqi and international universities, the relevant colleges at home and abroad, and the Union of Arab Universities through the exchange of publications and publications and sending college news to the various media, while its duties are summarized as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

Introducing the college\u2019s role and mission, and striving to build a positive image of it with the internal and external public.<\/span><\/p>\n

Publishing all news and announcements related to the college, and facilitating the task of media professionals and journalists to obtain information related to it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Interact with the community and meet its needs for accurate statistical information and facts.<\/span><\/p>\n

Communicate with the media to disseminate the college’s message, and the services it provides to the community, and organize meetings and press conferences for its officials.<\/span><\/p>\n

Follow-up public opinion trends about the college’s activities and various achievements.<\/span><\/p>\n

Preparing and issuing bulletins, especially those related to the achievements and activities of the college, and distributing them inside and outside the college.<\/span><\/p>\n

Media documentation of all college activities<\/span><\/p>\n

Supporting colleges and departments in implementing events and conferences.<\/span><\/p>\n

Receiving college visitors from various departments.<\/span><\/p>\n

Organizing activities, events and social events.<\/span><\/p>\n

The link between all departments and sections.<\/span><\/p>\n

Preparing college news and scientific and media topics for publication on the website, newspapers and magazines.<\/span><\/p>\n

Follow-up, monitor and document the published news about the college.<\/span><\/p>\n

Follow up, print and publish various brochures and other types of publications related to the academic programs offered by the college.<\/span><\/p>\n

Communicate with journalists and media professionals inside and outside the college.<\/span><\/p>\n

Issuing bulletins that serve as a mirror for the various internal and external university activities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Preparing and coordinating public activities and seminars approved by the college and supervising their implementation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Public Relations Unit Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The second unit is Wajda Public Relations. It establishes communication between the college and external parties. It undertakes the tasks of receiving guests, visitors and people invited to attend events held in the college, while its duties are summarized as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

1- Supervising the reception of official and popular Arab and foreign delegations that visit the college, accompanying them, preparing their visit programs and providing them with the information they need during their stay.<\/span><\/p>\n

2- Supervising the organization of conferences, events, workshops, exhibitions, seminars and various activities held in the college, or those in which the college is a party in coordination with the relevant authorities.<\/span><\/p>\n

3- Communicate with the various media, including visual, audio and print, through its representatives and directly.<\/span><\/p>\n

4- Preparing and arranging in advance for many conferences, workshops, seminars, meetings and various activities.<\/span><\/p>\n

5- To highlight the importance of public relations in the university community.<\/span><\/p>\n

6- Coordination and arrangement between the college departments, units and administrative divisions.<\/span><\/p>\n

7-Following up the affairs related to the ceremonies of the university affiliated bodies.<\/span><\/p>\n

8- Activating the mechanisms of communication and dialogue between faculty members, administrators and students in a way that encourages opportunities for effective educational interaction among them.<\/span><\/p>\n
