The College of Science at the University of Baghdad represents a developed edifice of higher education and scientific research in Iraq. This edifice is committed to preparing advanced scientific staff in the Department of Life Sciences, the Department of Chemistry, the Department of Physics, the Department of Earth Sciences, the Department of Mathematics, the Department of Computing, the Department of Astronomy, the Department of Remote Sensing, Geographic Information Systems and their applications in the dissemination of culture university, school, and public, and conducting research and studies in industry, oil, agriculture, and the community environment, and studying the earth and space to benefit from its resources and adapt them to serve man.\u00a0Therefore, the College of Science is the center of scientific radiation in Iraq, to \u200b\u200bput in your hands the capabilities of our scientific staff within the contracts of the Scientific Consultation Office in this ancient college to complete research and industrial studies and contribute to solving many environmental problems facing our dear country and serving the Iraqi society in education and development through holding seminars, courses and workshops For different government departments and the private sector.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Scientific Consultation Office was formed in the College of Science \/ University of Baghdad in 1992 according to the approval of the Presidency of the University of Baghdad in its book No. 20151 on 10\/21\/1992, and in its system it relied on instructions No. 43 of 1992 issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research under the Scientific and Consulting Services Offices Law In higher education and scientific research advisory institutions No. (7) for the year 1997.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Scientific Consultation Office has carried out a lot of advisory work in all scientific specializations, through its scientific advisory staff specialized in various basic sciences, who has extensive knowledge of the work of a large number of scientific institutions and companies.\u00a0In addition to the availability of a number of laboratories in the scientific departments in the various specializations of the College of Science in the implementation of all projects that fall within the competence of the office and according to the required scientific specifications.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Scientific Consultation Office in the College of Science has completed many projects and scientific consultations for all state departments, ministries, institutions and private sectors, including:<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

\u00a0 \u00a01- Executing projects and studies in oil, mineral and water resources, in addition to soil and water tests and drilling wells.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a02- Implementation of a project to provide advisory services for the management of the unified national card project.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 3- Conducting various laboratory tests and degrees of pollution in the scientific departments (earth science, chemistry sciences, life sciences, biotechnology sciences, physics sciences, biological research unit for hot regions.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a04- Designing and implementing specialized software to improve digital images and to separate parts of digital images according to the existing characters, as well as distinguishing the selected digital images.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a05- Implementation of oil systems studies projects and exploration of oil and gas reservoirs and their presence under the surface of the earth.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a06- Organizing and implementing specialized qualifying courses for state departments and the private sector in scientific, industrial, life and computer topics.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a07- Implementation of complementary examinations of the rock section related to the geological and geochemical specifications.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a08- Monitoring and addressing environmental problems such as desertification, dust storms, water movement and the spread of life on the surface of the earth with wide detections by means of remote sensing.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a09- Treatment of water injection of oil wells and subsidized production.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a010- Manufacturing systems for factories and environmental monitoring devices for state departments and the private sector.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 11- Providing advisory services in the evaluation and auditing of project studies.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
