the definition<\/span><\/strong>
\nAn administrative formation under the title (Rehabilitation and Employment Unit) is concerned with communicating with students and graduates of the College of Science and qualifying them through a number of programs and workshops. It is also concerned with building bridges of interaction between the student and the labor market represented by the government sector and the local and international private sector and marketing them to it, which makes this unit contribute to building a society. An advanced program that all state institutions rely on to keep pace with practical developments and update the information provided to the student in order to develop his capabilities that will be employed in the future to serve our dear country.<\/span><\/p>\n

General goal<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The unit aims to help students and graduates of the College of Science from various specializations to develop and build their personal, scientific and applied practical capabilities and life skills in a manner consistent with the labor market, giving them the opportunity to compete for jobs after their graduation in both the governmental and private sectors, locally or internationally, and to work to spread the culture of the importance of the private sector. From here, the College of Science and its administration set out to sponsor this formation and give this educational, vocational and cognitive program importance, of national value and a strategic dimension, pushing it to be advanced in visions, and to be among the importance and priorities needed by the higher education system, to be a correct gateway to marketing its intellectual product to the labor market. Strategy of the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit<\/span><\/p>\n

The unit’s strategy is to prepare specialized studies that contribute to identifying the strengths and weaknesses of graduates of the College of Science and their educational path, identifying their areas of opportunity for the labor market, and monitoring current and future threats.The Rehabilitation and Employment Unit also contributes to preparing accurate studies based on scientific foundations for the College of Science student databases and the unemployment rate therein, understanding the types of operational institutions and the differences between them, and knowing the auxiliary elements of how to advance the wheel of success and progress for the various operational institutions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vision of the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Developing and building the scientific, practical and personal skills and capabilities of College of Science students in a way that is compatible with the local and international requirements of the labor market.<\/span><\/p>\n

Objectives of the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

1-Guiding and advising students of the College of Science on the importance of their various scientific specializations in which they have been accepted.<\/span><\/p>\n

2-Preparing scientific studies on school curricula that contribute to their development to ensure their suitability for the labor market.<\/span><\/p>\n

3-\u00a0Communicate with the scientific and cognitive development taking place in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

4-Informing participants of the importance of the training unit.<\/span><\/p>\n

5-Informing the participant of the extent and strength of the trainee student\u2019s influence on the institution\u2019s reputation and the extent of its production.<\/span><\/p>\n

6-Communicate with the scientific departments and units within the College of Science and obtain a working paper that includes the labor market for each specialty within the public and private sectors.<\/span><\/p>\n

7-Preparing and implementing training programs and workshops for students and graduates of the College of Science in a manner consistent with the labor market.<\/span><\/p>\n

8-Opening communication channels with government institutions and the private sector and building bridges of communication between graduates of various specializations and the labor market.<\/span><\/p>\n

9-Following up on students after they are appointed to state institutions and the private sector and evaluating the extent to which they benefit from their specializations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Duties of the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit staff<\/span><\/p>\n

Administrative employee<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0Responsible for the unit\u2019s mail.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Organizing incoming and outgoing records and preserving mail.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Following up on external and internal mail from the Dean or his assistants.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0It also contributes to assisting (the employee organizing programs and workshops).<\/span><\/p>\n

Website employee<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Responsible for\u00a0 organizing the unit\u2019s electronic form to register graduates within the qualification program.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Responsible for e-mail and external correspondence\u00a0 for the labor market (preferably fluent in English).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Publishing announcements for workshops as well as disseminating the unit\u2019s activities through the college\u2019s website and social media site.<\/span><\/p>\n

Graduate follow-up and database officer<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Preparing a database on graduates of the College of Science in various specializations.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Preparing a database on the labor market for the specializations of the College of Science.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Organizing the filling out of the registration form for the unit\u2019s qualification programs for students registered directly (preferably proficient in working on the computer and its various programs)<\/span><\/p>\n
