The College of Science at the University of Baghdad announces the organization of the 1st International Scientific Conference under the theme:<\/h3>\n

\u201cScience and Innovation for Sustainable Development.<\/h3>\n

The conference will be held from 13 to 15 October 2026 at the College of Science University of Baghdad. It aims with the participation of distinguished researchers and academics from within Iraq and abroad to promote scientific research activities and facilitate the exchange of academic expertise across various scientific disciplines The conference also seeks to support scientific innovation in ways that contribute to achieving the goals of sustainable development.<\/h3>\n

The Conference Organizing Committee cordially invites researchers academics and postgraduate students to submit their original scientific research papers within the specified conference themes.<\/h3>\n

The committee also confirms that all accepted papers will undergo a rigorous peer-review process in accordance with recognized academic standards. Accepted papers will be published after the completion of the review procedures.<\/h3>\n

The Organizing Committee has set the following timeline for submissions:<\/h3>\n

Opening date for paper submission: 1 March 2026<\/h3>\n

Deadline for paper submission: 15 May 2026<\/h3>\n

Conference dates: 13\u201315 October 2026<\/h3>\n

The 1st International Scientific Conference of the College of Science<\/strong>
\u201cScience and Innovation for Sustainable Development\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The conference is a two-day event held on 6\u20137 December 2023<\/strong> at the University of Baghdad<\/strong>. It presents the latest research and innovations in nuclear physics, plasma physics, laser physics, nanotechnology, and renewable energy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The conference will also honor two distinguished physicists<\/strong> and will feature four keynote lectures, 24 oral presentations, 20 poster presentations, and four workshops<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
