{"id":6901,"date":"2024-03-26T16:19:45","date_gmt":"2024-03-26T13:19:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.sc.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=6901"},"modified":"2024-03-26T16:19:45","modified_gmt":"2024-03-26T13:19:45","slug":"a-workshop-at-faculty-of-science-on-topic-of-challenging-the-drug-phenomenon-to-be-a-community-issue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.sc.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=6901","title":{"rendered":"A workshop at Faculty of Science on topic of  Challenging the drug phenomenon to be a community issue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Under the care and supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Falih Hassan, in the presence of a number of students, teachers and educational guidance committees, Department of Biotechnology, in cooperation with continuing education, held a workshop tagged &#8220;Drugs as a societal issue&#8221;<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 this workshop aspired to raise social awareness of the issue of drugs, which is the most important issue because it affects societies worldwide, and included a focus on the issue of the spread of drugs and their impact on individuals and families, the crimes they cause, the rehabilitation of addicts and cost of their treatment.<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">\u00a0\u00a0 It also included a lecture presented \u00a0by Brigadier General Ziad Khalaf Kata, stressing the need for comprehensive cooperation between governments, communities and institutions to strengthen the role of awareness-raising, stating that the issue of drugs is a complex challenge affecting society, the economy and health, as it has a negative impact on individuals and families, and increased violence, requiring significant efforts including awareness-raising and treatment programs to combat that scourge.<\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Under the care and supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Falih Hassan, in the","protected":false},"author":82,"featured_media":6902,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_lmt_disableupdate":"","_lmt_disable":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[40,48],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-6901","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-biotechnology-news","category-college-news"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.8 -
