\u00a0\u00a0 Under the auspices of the Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Read Faleh \u00a0Hassan, with the presence students, teaching stuff and those concerned with agricultural engineering and nutrition<\/h3>\n
\u00a0\u00a0 Department of Biotechnology, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College, organized a scientific lecture tagged “The vital activity of some plant extracts against the local isolation of Streptococcus mutant bacteria”.<\/strong><\/h3>\n
The lecture aimed to discuss the \u00a0possibility of isolating bacteria from the oral cavity and diagnosing them, studying the effect of extracts on the microbial balance in the mouth , their effectiveness as anti-adhesion gum , manufacturing them containing plant extracts, and rate of release of phenolic compounds.<\/h3>\n
