{"id":7978,"date":"2024-10-16T21:46:33","date_gmt":"2024-10-16T18:46:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.sc.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=7978"},"modified":"2024-10-16T21:46:33","modified_gmt":"2024-10-16T18:46:33","slug":"a-workshop-called-for-the-use-of-plants-in-the-manufacture-of-nanoparticles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.sc.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=7978","title":{"rendered":"A workshop called for the use of plants in the manufacture of nanoparticles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">The Biological Research Unit for the Tropical Regions in cooperation with the Development and Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science, University of Baghdad, organized the workshop tagged <strong>&#8220;Extracting Active Substances from Plants by Nanoscale Methods&#8221; <\/strong>under the auspices of <strong>the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Falih Hassan<\/strong>, and attended of several research students, academics and specialists in plant Anatomy and nanoparticles.<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>The workshop aimed<\/strong> at the importance of using plants in the manufacture of nanoparticles, because of their easy access, which is environmentally friendly and the way they are prepared is very easy. Increased interest in the use of the formation of nanoparticles mediated by plants, in relation to the chemical active substances that act as a reductive agent and stabilizer, including alkali, terpenoids, tannins, phenols, amas, amino acids, proteins, enzymes, saccharides, and vitamins.<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">The lectures included Assistant Professor <strong>Dr. Leith Ahmed Yacoub, Dr. Haifa Nouri Matar, Dr. Shima Hamid Kamel,<\/strong> and <strong>Sara Faisal<\/strong>, to provide an overview of nanotechnology and a detailed explanation of its applications in various medical and industrial fields, the importance of nanoscale extraction using biological methods and bacterial extracts and the role of nanoscale extraction using biological methods and plant extracts.
