The Department of Life Sciences, in cooperation with the Continuing and Education Unit at the College of Science, University of Baghdad, held a workshop tagged “Endemic Food Poisoning in Iraq and Rare Features and Methods of Control”<\/strong> under the auspices of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Falih Hassan,<\/strong> and attended several specialists.<\/h3>\n
The workshop aimed<\/strong> to provide a detailed explanation of the mechanism of food poisoning in the human body and its multiple causes and to identify the most important types of poisoning, including microbiology food poisoning, chemical food poisoning, and the symptoms of each type of poisoning, and how to treat and prevent it.<\/h3>\n
The workshop presented <\/strong>by Professor<\/strong> Mei Talib Fellah, Associate Professor Dr. Marwa Hamid Al Khafaji, and Hasan Hafezi Abbas<\/strong>, highlighting the symptoms of endemic contaminated food intake in Iraq, as well as explaining symptoms resulting from food poisoning, and ways to avoid food poisoning.
