<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>The Department of Life Sciences, in cooperation with the Development and Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science, University of Baghdad, held the workshop tagged “Nanoscale Capsule Derived from Fungi and Its Applications” <\/strong>under the auspices of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Faleh Hassan,<\/strong> and attended several postgraduates, research students and nanotechnology specialists.<\/h3>\n

The aim of the workshop was<\/strong> to provide a simplified presentation of methods for the preparation of nanoscale capsules, consisting of extracts, secondary metabolites of fungi. Nanotechnology is one of the latest methods used in all vital fields, which is included in the pharmaceutical industry, cosmetics, biopesticides and chemicals.<\/h3>\n

The workshop was presented<\/strong> by Dr. Alia Abdelaziz and Dr. Hiba Khalil Tawfik<\/strong> the importance of nanoscale capsules from the secondary metabolic derivatives of fungi, A significant role in insect control that has been used as antibiotics against pathogenic bacteria as well as how to prepare nano capsules using natural ketosan polymer and synthetic polymer polyethylene glycol 4000 and identify and characterize nano capsules and their prepared properties using dynamic light rectangle analysis and scanning electron microscope.<\/h3>\n
