The Department of Biology, in cooperation with the Development and Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science, University of Baghdad, held a lecture entitled “Combating Environmentally Friendly Pests”<\/strong> under the auspices of the<\/strong> Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Falih Hassan,<\/strong> and attendance of postgraduates, academics, and environmental specialists.<\/h3>\n
The lecture aimed to<\/strong> raise awareness of biological control, which is a natural environmentally friendly product such as biopesticides and microbes and is described as biopesticides, microorganisms, pheromones, and natural substances such as vegetable oils, while microbes include invertebrates, \u201cbiocontrol agents\u201d- insects and predatory mites.<\/h3>\n
