The Department of Geology, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science, University of Baghdad, organized a lecture titled “The Use of Artificial Intelligence and Its Applications.” The lecture aimed to highlight the utilization of advanced technology and big data in geological specialties, emphasizing the optimal use of modern technology and artificial intelligence. It discussed the application of these technologies in the field of Geology and the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing the performance of institutions. The lecture, presented by Dr. Omar Fityan Rashid and Assistant Lecturer Sabah Abdul Ali, included a review of rapid technological advancements, especially in the context of digital transformation and artificial intelligence. They explained the comprehensive significance of big data currently available in the rapidly evolving digital landscape and its importance in making fact-based decisions, particularly in academic disciplines.
