Founding of the College of Science

On March 27, 1949, the College of Science was founded at the University of Baghdad, becoming one of its largest departments. The college played a pivotal role in the establishment of modern scientific higher education in Iraq, and its foundation day has rightfully and deservedly become Science Day in our country.
