Ideal Design for Optimal Protection of Biological Laboratories
The Department of Biotechnology, in collaboration with the Continuous Education Unit at the College of Science, University of Baghdad, organized a lecture entitled “Ideal Design for Optimal Protection of Biological Laboratories,” under the patronage of the Assistant Dean of the College, Dr. Raed Falah Hasan. The lecture, presented by Assistant Professor Amna Rami, aimed to shed light on the potential exposure of laboratory workers to biological hazards, along with their severe, moderate, or negligible consequences. It emphasized the need for additional measures to control risks beyond basic requirements. The lecture included a review of risk assessment and appropriate, sufficient enforcement measures to control risks effectively.
