The Ibn Sina Unit, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science, University of Baghdad, organized a workshop titled “Introduction to Microsoft Office Applications.” The workshop was patronage by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Falah Hasan, and was attended by many postgraduate students and specialists in computer software applications. The workshop presented by researcher Saja Ghazi Mohammed aimed to familiarize participants with the methods used in writing scientific research papers, theses, and dissertations for graduate students. Additionally, it aimed to introduce the features of Microsoft Word Office programs and conduct practical applications of the program regarding the formatting of titles and content specific to theses or dissertations. It also aimed to highlight the importance of the Microsoft Office program and its key features, as well as to avoid software errors while using the computer. Furthermore, it aimed to familiarize participants with the main tabs of the program’s interface and how to use them effectively.
