The Ibn Sina Unit for E-Learning, in collaboration with the Continuous Education Unit at the College of Science, University of Baghdad, organized a workshop titled “How to Design a Scientific Poster.” The workshop, conducted by Assistant Professor Dr. Sherine Rasool Jawad, aimed to familiarize participants with the process of designing scientific posters, equipping them with soft skills crucial for effectively presenting scientific posters. These posters serve as vital tools for succinctly showcasing scientific and research outcomes, including research papers, theses, dissertations, graduation projects, as well as other activities such as lectures, seminars, conferences, and educational materials. The workshop included a simplified overview of the components of a scientific poster, starting from the presentation of its title and concept. It emphasized the necessity for the scientific poster to be clear and provide maximum essential information intended for presentation. This includes incorporating images, figures, tables, and text of various sizes, shapes, and colors, which should be harmonious and coherent with each other.
