Importance of infrared spectroscopy in diagnosing organic compounds
Under the patronage of the Dean Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Faleh Hassan, with the presence of several students, teachers, and those concerned with chemical science.
Department of Chemistry organized a workshop entitled “Infrared Spectroscopy,” that aimed to demonstrate the importance of infrared spectroscopy in diagnosing organic and inorganic compounds and in determining active groups of chemical compounds, which is very important for graduate students and researchers in many fields, especially chemical sciences.
This workshop, which was lectured by Dr. Nada Ahmed Rashid, Chemist Munira Khaled Ahmed, and assistant Prof Enas Hassan, included highlighting the infrared spectroscopy device, how to examine models, and how to interpret infrared spectra of organic
