A seminar and volunteer campaign entitled effects and implications of illegal immigration

       Sponsored by the Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Raid Faleh Hassan, with the presence of teaching staff, students, and educational guidance committees.

     The Department of Media and Public Relations, in cooperation with Continuing Education unit, Educational Guidance and Psychological Guidance Unit organized a discussion panel entitled “The Repercussions of Resisting Illegal Immigration” aimed to raise awareness of the violations of illegal immigration, repercussions, and Ways to reduce their impact, clearing most important secrets of concealment of identity in the deception of illegal immigration.

The seminar, lectured by a number of Media Department teaching staff, included define of illegal immigration, identifying mechanisms to reduce it, presenting facts about it, and discussing the reasons for youth migration and their suffering, by explaining the concept of illegal immigration, causes and problems, political, economic , social effects, factors for success of reducing it, role of The media raising in reducing this phenomena , and the crucial role that media can play in reducing illegal immigration by providing legal alternatives through many methods and strategies, including awareness through education , providing accurate and reliable information of dangers of illegal immigration showing Legitimacy concept in schools, universities and cultural centers.

 On the sidelines of the discussion circle, a volunteer campaign was organized in which Awareness leaflets were posted at walls of all departments, calling for avoiding illegal immigration and negative effects and deadly risks that lead them towards destruction instead of the false dream of successful immigration.
