A Training Course at the College of Science on The Foundations of Information and Networks within the Strategy of Education in Iraq
The Development and Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science in cooperation with the Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Baghdad, organized the training course entitled “Foundations of Information and Networks” in the presence of many college employees and academics.
The course aimed to introduce the foundations of information and networks, which include several key aspects aimed at providing participants with basic knowledge and skills in the field of information technology and networks through understanding the basics, management, security, solving problems, troubleshooting through data and keeping up with the developments of its technologies globally.
This course was presented by Assistant Prof. Suhad Faisal Shihan, who provided a starting point toward the world of information technology by identifying basic knowledge in network concepts and qualifying to establish and maintain networks with troubleshootingIn addition, an explanation of the concepts of security and network attacks against security threats, troubleshoot common network cables, communications, software, and characterize the main network infrastructure.
