The Use of Artificial Intelligence for Early Detection of Breast Cancer
The Information Technology Division, in cooperation with the Development and Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science, University of Baghdad, held a specialized scientific lecture entitled “Prediction and Diagnosis of Breast Cancer Using Artificial Intelligence” under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Falih Hassan, and attended several of the faculty’s members.
The purpose of the lecture was to raise awareness of the importance of early detection and provide up-to-date information that contributes to improving health care and promoting a culture of prevention among students and society, as part of the Breast Cancer Challenge Month events, to introduce advanced artificial intelligence technologies that revolutionize prediction and early detection of breast cancer, thus providing new hope and enabling patients to control their health.
The lecture presented by Sabrin Waheed Kazim addresses modern ways of using artificial intelligence in the early detection of breast cancer and its impact on improving rates of detection and treatment, AI has shown promising performance at cancer research centers Through digital information, the widely used Public Database of Cancer Research can produce many types of data and resources and high-performance computers including and GPUs, enable AI detection capabilities for the disease; As such, this technology can process and handle large amounts of data, describing it as sufficient that humans cannot do.
