The Department of Mathematics, in cooperation with the Development and Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science, University of Baghdad, organized the workshop tagged “How to Make the Chart More Attractive for Planning in Mathematics” under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Faleh Hassan, and attended several students, academics and computer software professionals.
The workshop aimed to introduce the Mathematica program, which is one of the most important computer programs that has recently emerged, contains many commands and functions covering most of the exact branches of mathematics, and is used in many fields such as physics, engineering, social sciences and others, as well as programming language.
The workshop displayed by two lectures, the Associate Professor Dr. Dalia Khalid and, Dr. Alaa Walid provided a detailed explanation for mathematicians and computer-interested students and his application in this field of specialization. This program is very comprehensive and beneficial for students, through which it is used in very advanced mathematical tasks, as well as its usability when working in many engineering professional groups, as well as its potential in calculations and how to use the computational functions of Mathematica whether these functions are in analytical engineering, in algebra or in the theory of preparation.
