Achieving a prominent position among chemistry departments in Iraq so that it becomes one of the leading departments in the field of education and scientific research.

The department’s mission includes preparing students who are scientifically and practically competent in the various fields of chemistry and striving to provide solid and advanced scientific research.

Department objectives

Providing the community with graduates who hold a bachelor’s degree in various chemistry sciences and with the title of chemical assistant, where they can work in health laboratories, construction laboratories, control and standardization, food and pharmaceutical industries, and various chemical industries, including petrochemical industries.
Providing the community with qualified teachers to teach in various universities in Qatar. Providing the community with those with advanced master’s and doctoral degrees who are qualified to work as researchers in various research fields that keep pace with the scientific progress of chemistry. Contributing to solving scientific problems that contribute to serving the country’s development plan.
