The Office of the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs is one of the key components in the administrative structure of the College of Science – University of Baghdad. It oversees all scientific and academic activities related to academic programs, scientific research, postgraduate studies, student affairs, and academic development.
The office works in coordination with the academic departments and relevant units to organize and monitor the educational process, ensure the quality of academic programs, support research initiatives, and manage matters related to scientific promotions, research, scientific grants, and conferences.
Office Tasks:

Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate studies within the college.

Follow up on the implementation of curricula, course content, and academic calendars.

Support and coordinate scientific research activities and interdepartmental collaborative projects.

Oversee scientific promotions and evaluations of research output.

Monitor development programs, workshops, and scientific training courses.

Prepare periodic scientific reports and submit them to the college administration and higher authorities.
