Abstract:
Female infertility is a multifactorial syndrome encompassing a wide variety of disorders. One out of eight couples encounter problems when attempting to conceive a first child and one out of six when attempting to conceive a subsequent child. This study was designed to find out the role of BMP15 and miRNA378 genes in the etiology and pathogenesis of infertility in a sample of Iraqi women. One hundred infertile women attends the Umm Al-Banin Center for infertility and IVF ,at Al-Kadhimiya Teaching Hospital and Al-Elwiya Education Hospital in Baghdad Iraq , from March 2021 until February 2022, they were enrolled in this study, in addition to fifty healthy, fertile women.
