A Lecture on the Impact of Exposure to Chemicals and Radioactive Materials
The Department of Biology, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science, University of Baghdad, held a lecture entitled “Chromosomal Abnormalities” attended by a number of students, teachers and medical specialists.
The lecture aimed to shed the light on chromosomal abnormalities that occur in all living organisms of plants and animals, the most important of which is humans. These abnormalities are one of the most important and dangerous chromosomal mutations that occur to humans as a result of exposure to radiation, chemicals, diseases and excessive use of drugs.
