The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science, University of Baghdad, in cooperation with the Health Care Media Sector in Al-Karkh Health Directorate, held the annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month seminar. The seminar was attended by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Faleh Hassan, and assistants of the Dean for Scientific and Administrative Affairs. The seminar aimed to increase awareness and encourage women to perform self-examinations for breast cancer, as well as to undergo screenings for women over the age of forty. It also aimed to educate women about the importance of early detection of breast cancer through clinical screenings, emphasizing the importance of women’s awareness in preventing this disease. The Dean of the College and his assistants awarded certificates of appreciation to those who presented the seminar.
