In the College of Science Department of Physics at the University of Baghdad, a master’s thesis entitled “Isobaric Shift of Energy Levels in A= 46 Isobars” by Hasan A. Kadhim Al-saadi was discussed under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Firas Zuhair Majeed. The research aimed to use interactions to reconstruct energy levels and perform calculations using a diverse set of effective reactions. It compared the calculated energy levels for the isotopes under investigation with the current experimental data for the nuclear energy levels of some nuclei with mass number (46) and investigated them using the nuclear shell model. The thesis concluded that the best choice of reactions and model space would yield the best-replicated data. It also indicated that expanding the model space would be necessary to reproduce the measurements. Additionally, a neutron excess would lead to higher energy level densities and cumulative states.
