The possibility of using mathematics in software design and development
The Department of Mathematics, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science, University of Baghdad, organized a lecture presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Dalya Khaled Bahloul and Lecturer Alaa Walid Saleh. The lecture aimed to introduce the use of mathematical concepts in the design process. It focused on developing efficient, precise, and fast algorithms to solve complex problems. Additionally, the lecture covered statistical data analysis, focusing on the extraction of valuable information from data and the potential of mathematics in software development including designing control systems, solving mathematical equations to control machinery and equipment, creating electronic games, developing 3D models, simulating motion physics, and managing sound effects.
