The Department of Mathematics, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit and within the activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week, organized a lecture entitled “ParaView Program.” The lecture aimed to introduce the ParaView application. Which is one of the free, open-source programs for data visualization and analysis for the Windows operating system and others to create data analysis visualizations, qualitative and quantitative techniques, and explore three-dimensional and two-dimensional data. The lecture presented by Dr. Symaa AbdulSattar Mohammed covered the uses of the “ParaView ” program, which serves climate research and CFD simulation, as well as its importance in processing and drawing functions in three-dimensional and two-dimensional, as well as its ability to create an image clip of any number of data it has, indicating that it has developed For analyzing very large datasets, using distributed memory computing resources, the application can run on supercomputers to analyze datasets, as well as on laptops for smaller datasets.
