Dean of the College of Science represented its deanship at the graduation ceremony of students at the University of Baghdad “The Flood of Al-Aqsa”
The College of Science, represented by its dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Falih Hassan, along with the college council, faculty members, and students, participated in the central graduation ceremony for the academic year 2022-2023, held under the theme “The Flood of Al-Aqsa.” The ceremony took place in the gardens of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, in the presence of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, as well as the presidents of several universities and deans of colleges. The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, delivered a congratulatory speech to the graduating students on their graduation day and the commencement of their responsibilities in the field of work. He explained that the sash worn by the graduates this year symbolizes their support for the resilient and wounded Palestinian people due to the aggression they faced. He emphasized that the graduation of this constellation from the alma mater imposes an additional responsibility on the ministry to preserve the distinguished character of this ancient educational institution, represented by the University of Baghdad. Following that, the President of the University of Baghdad, Pro. Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi, delivered a speech that reviewed the indicators of scientific achievement of the University of Baghdad and its colleges in the field of scientific publishing and international classifications. The Minister of Higher Education honored the outstanding students, praising the efforts of the scientific, academic, and administrative staff. affirming the ministry’s and its universities’ commitment to excellence and continuous development.
