The Mathematics Department, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science, University of Baghdad, organized a lecture entitled “Software Development Using Mathematics,” under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Raad Falah Hassan. The lecture presented by both Dr. Hassana Faisal and Assistant Professor Aliaa Aqeel aimed to introduce the methods of using mathematics in software design, and development, enhancing efficiency, achieving accuracy, and developing better models to meet user needs, as well as emphasizing the importance of technology in mathematical sciences. The lecture covered a detailed explanation of arithmetic operations and the utilization of mathematical functions through computer software programs, encompassing functions in analytical geometry, algebra, and number theory. It also delved into a review of mathematical functions and variables.
