The Department of Remote Sensitivity and Geographic Information Systems, in cooperation with the Development and Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science, University of Baghdad, organized a lecture entitled “Medical Mathematics” under the auspices of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Falih Hassan, and attended several postgraduate students, medical and mathematics specialists.

The lecture aimed at linking mathematical theories to life applications, reviewing the real role of mathematics in biological fields, and contributing to the solution of medical problems and prospects of future results by modelling many life subjects using a variety of mathematical and computer techniques and tools.

The lecture presented by Usama Hadi Matlak, introduced the importance of mathematics in medicine, stating that mathematics is an integral part of medicine, noting that all graphs, equations, statistics, and general mathematics help to understand the important aspects of human and veterinary medicine, biology and science in general.
