The Department of Mathematics, in cooperation with the Development and Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science, University of Baghdad, organized a workshop entitled “Statistical Analysis of Data Using The Statistical Program SPSS” under the auspices of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Faleh Hassan, and attended many of postgraduates and research students and those interested on statistical software.
The workshop aimed to provide an overview of the use of different applications of the SPSS program while explaining the tools in this program and providing a practical application on real data found in the program and its important components, data analysis, and better understanding the data and solving complex research problems.
The lecture was presented by Assistant Professor Iraq Tariq Abbas and Associate Professor Dr. Ghadir Jassim Mohammed and Dr. Alaa Hussein Lafta, teaching the principles of preparing Excel shit as well as introducing statistical terminology as well as knowing how appropriate statistical analysis is also, how to conduct the main statistical analyses. SPSS program is used by researchers in all disciplines to quantitatively analyze complex data, and prepare and manage basic data, metadata statistics, and common statistical.
