Overview of the Seismic Monitoring and Spatial Data Analysis Laboratory
The Seismic Monitoring and Spatial Data Analysis Laboratory is located at the University of Baghdad – College of Science. It is one of the leading research facilities in the field of geophysical and spatial data analysis. The laboratory manages the Mesopotamian Seismological Network (MPSN), which consists of 13 advanced seismic monitoring stations distributed across Iraq. This enables the lab to conduct precise geophysical surveys and process and interpret 2D and 3D seismic surveys.
