The lecture aimed to identify the “keto” diet, its therapeutic uses and its side effects, as it is a low-carbohydrate and high-fat diet, and relies on eating carbohydrates, and replacing fats with them, which makes the body effective in burning fats, to obtain energy, as well as its goal to introduce rich foods. Nutrients that are important sources of carbohydrates, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, milk, yogurt, and carbohydrates are the main source of energy for the body.
