This short training course aims to guide the students starting to write their thesis on how to approach writing and presenting their data, literature, and ideas. In this course, we will cover several topics such as the general structure of a thesis and how to write each part. In addition, we will teach the students about formatting and presenting their work so that it meets the rigorous demands of the academic world and the requirements of the College of Science. We will also provide the students with suggestions and training in using some of the best and most used tools to help them in writing their thesis. Additionally, the students will be instructed on how to best present their work in front of an audience and how best to summarize and communicate their ideas during their Viva. Moreover, the course will address important issues such as plagiarism and how to correctly use resources and references to give the students a better understanding of this problem and equip them with the right tools to deal with it.
