A virtual workshop in the College of Science stands on the evaluation of computer teachers in Iraqi universities
University professor evaluation is one of the important processes for professors, university and students. The evaluation process aims primarily to improve the teaching and research experiences and community activity of the university professor and to identify the strengths and weaknesses during the professor’s career for each academic year.
The evaluation process is considered an annual periodicity, and it is one of the common tasks of the professor him/herself, the department chair, the students and the Dean. There is another reason for evaluation, which is to know the professor’s performance in comparison with his evaluation of previous years, that helps the university to decide whether it wants to renew the professor’s contract and reward him or help him improve his performance if his performance is deteriorating. This workshop deals with the foundations of evaluating a university professor in the departments of computer science and scientific departments in the American universities.
