A lecture at the College of Science discusses the latest developments in hemorrhagic fever
The Department of Biotechnology, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science of the University of Baghdad, held a lecture entitled “Viral Hemorrhagic Fever and its Dangers” in the presence of a number of students, lecturers and those concerned with medical affairs.
The lecture, which was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Aida Hussein Ibrahim and Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Jabbar Reshak, aimed to shed light on infectious viral diseases that can cause severe life-threatening illness, most notably damage to the walls of small blood vessels, which causes them to leak, It can hinder the blood’s ability to clot. The internal bleeding that results from this condition is usually not life-threatening, but the diseases themselves can be life-threatening.
