Applications of The Sterling Formula and Function Gamma
The Department of Mathematics in collaboration with the Development and Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science, University of Baghdad, organized the scientific symposium “Sterling Formula and Gamma Function”, under the auspices of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Faleh Hassan, attended by research students, academics, and experts in pure mathematics.
The purpose of the lecture was to introduce Stirling’s formula and gamma function and to discover their applications in different fields, especially in complex mathematical calculations and as a mathematical tool Basic for simplifying accounts and reviewing gamma applications in scientific fields such as Physics and Statistics Possibilities.
This lecture was displayed by Dr. Maryam Khudayr Rashid to clarify practical uses of the Sterling formula and gamma function in solving complex issues contributing to enhancing participants’ abilities to apply these tools in their studies and research through Sterling’s formula, review its basic applications and clarification of how use Stirling formula to streamline gamma function accounts, reviewing practical applications Sterling’s formula in mathematical and statistical science.
