Wildlife Day at the College of Science
The department of biology and student activities unit organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and the Green Climate Organization of Iraq a big festival entitled “Wildlife Day” in the presence of students, a number of professors and researchers concerned with bio- science and protected areas. The aim of the festival is to raise awareness of endangered animals, the wildlife and its diversity in achieving sustainable development because of its environmental, genetic, social, economic, scientific, educational, cultural, recreational and aesthetic values. It is an opportunity to celebrate the rich diversity and beauty of animals and plants and to raise awareness of the benefits of preserving it as a goal of the biology
