A virtual workshop in the College of Science, Baghdad University by a British Professor from Liverpool University
The Dept. of Geology with Avi Cenna unit for e-learning and Continuing Education Unit, the college of the science of Baghdad University, organized a virtual workshop entitled “Promoting Education in the Iraqi Universities” which involves researchers and academics from inside and outside the college. This virtual workshop was introduced by Prof. Johan M., the Head of the Civil Engineering Dept., an academic in Water and Environment Dept. (Liverpool University, UK), with the Head Assistant of (CIWEM)- Dr. Rafid, was aimed to find out the ways to promote education in Iraqi Universities, the essentials of keeping abreast of developments in this subject and promoting the use of updated and developed educational curricula. Also, aimed to enhance the Iraqi university standards internationally and to adopt modern teaching methods.
