A virtual lecture in the College of Science, Baghdad University, by a Professor from Swedish- Lulea University of Technology
The Dept. of Geology with Avi Cenna unit for e-learning and Continuing Education Unit, the college of the science of Baghdad University, organized a virtual lecture entitled
“The Water Policies of Tigris and Euphrates Rivers”
which was attended by a lot of academics, researchers and specialists in the policy and water resources from inside and outside the college. The virtual lecture was introduced by Dr. N. Al- Ansari, Lulea University of Technology, Sweden and was aimed to identify appropriate water policies of Tigris and Euphrates Rivers as significant strategic policies by the country, to establish or develop strategic projects for exploiting the increase in the rain (rainfall) level. Also, the Iraqi water crisis and causes, and the strategical solutions to solve and avoid this crisis to ensure water security (provision) without being at the expense of food security.
