Rare astronomical event after 17th billion light-years from our ground in a virtual lecture in the College of Science, Baghdad University
The Dept. of Astronomy and Space with Avi Cenna unit for e-learning and Continuing Education Unit, the college of the science of Baghdad University, organized a virtual lecture entitled “The Astronomical Event of GW190521”. The virtual lecture was attended by a number of academics, researchers and who specialised in Astronomy and Space and was introduced by Dr. H. Hasan who explained– what is the GW190521- gravitational wave signal event? This can be defined as disturbances in the curvature of space-time, generated by accelerated masses that propagate as waves outward from their source at the speed of light
